Year 6 spent the night in school as a special treat on Thursday. They had fun in the playground and shared pizzas and chips. After watching a movie they all settled down for a good nights’ sleep. Everyone had enjoyed themselves and were very well behaved Well done Year 6!

From September ALL children from Reception to Year 6 must wear correct kit to school on PE days – plain white t-shirt and black shorts, leggings or joggers. No logos or football tops please. Plain trainers or plimsols. Full school uniform should be worn on all other days.

On Tuesday, Year 6 visited the Houses of Parliament to learn all about Laws and Debating. They had a tour of the Palace of Westminster and saw a debate going on in the House of Commons.

Cycle Confident will be in school week beginning 3rd July for Year 5 and Y6 children. Levels 1 & 2 Cycle Training. Children must have their own bike to take part.

Be Sun Smart
The forecast is for some very hot weather over the next few weeks. Please can all children bring a hat and wear sunscreen to school every day to protect their skin.

Nursery Trip to St James’ Park
Nursery children had a fantastic experience this week, visiting The Mall, Buckingham Palace and St James’ Park. They were even lucky enough to see a rehearsal for yesterday’s Trooping the Colour celebrations.

Well done to all the children for a fantastic sports day last Friday. Reception to Year 5 took part in activities in Northbrook Park, while Nursery had their own Sports Day in the school playground. A HUGE thank you to Year 6 who supported all the classes and did the scoring.
