@scriptwren 4. If our children are not comfortable with those rules, they need to politely, respectfully, diplomatically challenge them with acceptable grounds that are outlined in the policy/ies. That way, our children are also educated to advocate for themselves. I am on your side 😊

@scriptwren 3. Wearing clothes with patterns does not prevent learning or high academic achievement / attainment. However, our children are trained to fit in well into the society where they may not agree with certain rules, policies or legislations, but they need to learn to obey rules 😊

@scriptwren 2. My child is in sixth form and his school also has a dressing code where students are not allowed to wear certain types of clothes especially with logos or patterns. My son and I talked about it and we questioned the school what they meant. Only then, we realised why.

@scriptwren 1. Different schools have their different policies and expectations which parents and students are advised to reflect on before making decisions to attend or not. There are board members, school councils and school governors who are there to challenge irrelevant policies.

@AndrewCicchett1 My BSc Certificate also disappeared but I did not make a fuss because I knew I could request from the Uni. It mysteriously appeared after some months. 😂😂😂
