@GrantPaulsen@LONTDC1 Of course! But you can’t get swept by the Marlins, who weren’t even playing well btw, they had lost 5 in a row coming in. This is why everyone needs to pump the brakes on the “whole is this a playoff team” talk. They are better yes, but a long way from truly being in the mix.
@TDChrisG Counting cards?? It’s been a minute since I played craps but I don’t recall craps involving cards??? Normally it’s dice?! Unless the game has changed.
@pdowdy83@1067theFan I wouldn’t say it’s the exact same scenario. Especially if CJ keeps this up over the next few months. Gore showed flashes but was never consistent enough. Plus position players will always command more value in trades because they play everyday.
@MarkZuckerman Why do the Marlins give the Nats so much trouble all the time? They can beat the Braves, Guardians, Padres but every time they play the Marlins, it’s a problem. Or so it seems that way anyway.
@MarkZuckerman The Gore and Cavalli similarities are striking. Both guys have electric stuff. Both super competitive. Both can be erratic at times. With the new coaching staff, Cavalli seems to be developing, imagine if they kept Gore and he had actually good coaching now too.
@AlGaldi I’ve also learned how sensitive Padres players are. Sitting behind the bullpen and a kid was asking for a baseball and the bullpen catcher literally took off his mask and told the kid to shut up. I came to the kids defense then I was kicked out of the game via the Padres bullpen.
