@shbkes @appltrack Trust me, you probably need a replacement cable. Regardless, one faulty product does not mean an entire design is useless. The Lightning port is generally considered more durable and water resistant than USB-C. Although that’s about all Lightning is better at now.

@shbkes @appltrack It’s really not, it’s just very outdated. Lightning wasn’t made to be ‘different’ to USB-C, it predates the design of C by 2 years, and the first proper phone with C by 3 yrs. When Lightning came out every other phone was charging using micro usb, which is awful in comparison.
