We have confirmation that the first corncrake chicks have hatched!
Normally we only expect chicks by mid-June.
The chicks are very vulnerable but those that make it are independent of mum within 10 days.
Every crake counts.
I am on RTΓ radio tomorrow morning at 11:35 with Claire Byrne. A conversation on many topics including extra circular academic achievements, karate, my school experience and hopes for the future. All support is appreciated, so hope you'll all give me a listen in tomorrow.
We had our #TableTennisTakeover a day early yesterday! A very fun, fast paced morning for all involved! Well done to the champions of each classroom!π

What a fantastic day today for #ActiveSchoolsWeek. We started off with a swim in @MulrannyPark followed by a 2km walk in @WildNephin where we also learned a lot about our environment along the way. Thanks again to our excellent guide Michael!

Belmullet Tidal Pool Shore Road is a true gem in the Barony of Erris. It's compulsory to visit when you're visiting Belmullet.

Happy Easter Holidays everyone!π£

Both classrooms created some beautiful posters for our @ActiveFlag slogans. The active flag committee then chose a winner from each classroom.
Well done to all!π
