This books was a bit of a hard read. I kept hoping that Alex would succeed, but knew he wouldn't. I'm glad that Alex didn't bow to white women tears. I hope Morris writes more in this universe in the future. It has really solid world building.

This is not a book I would have picked for myself, but it was good. I really liked the intros describing the primary colors. It made me pay more attention to when the colors were mentioned in the narrative. #thelastcollection#jeannemackin#books#bookreview
As a companion to the movie, this book is fantastic. Its hilarious and very in line with the characters' personalities. I wish there was a quick guide that explained what was real and what was fiction (outside of the obvious stuff).

This is another book that I would love a sequel to. Its been over 10 years since originally published, and I would love to know what Feldman's journey has looked like in those years. I hope she's doing well.

I was completely overwhelmed by the kindness of the Newfies, and how quickly they mobilized and answered the call of the crisis. I would love to know what the town is like now, 20 years later.

I found this book very interesting in the fact that all of the characters are heavily flawed. The story also felt like the river that the characters live by: it ebbs and flows and changes from rushing to calmer and back in an instant. Definitely interesting#thebookshopatwatersend
I really enjoyed this book! I did frequently find myself wondering what was fact and what was fiction, but I didn't let it distract me too much. I had no idea that the Baum family had lead such an adventurous life! #findingdorothy#historicalfiction#elizabethletts
I had not read Doig's work before this, but I greatly enjoyed it! It took some time to get into the book, but once Donny and Herman started their real adventure, it was loads of fun.#books#bookreview#lastbustowisdom
I got the opportunity to visit @powellsbooks in Oregon! Its a dream come true for readers. 4 floors of books and book-related goodies... I could live there happily. Also, I found @neilhimself's signature on the signature pillar in the Fantasy/sci-fi room!
