I’ve learned something over time. Being by yourself isn’t a bad thing. In fact, it can be one of the most peaceful places you’ll ever find.
Once you get a taste of that kind of peace, you start to realize you don’t need the chaos, the drama, or the forced interactions.
I’d rather ride my own road, keep my circle tight, and spend my time where it actually matters.

Life teaches us a lot. As we get older, we tolerate less and become more intentional about who we allow in our circle. We set boundaries. One of mine is simple—those who bear false witness against me, whether through gossip or accusations without facts, reveal more about themselves than they do about me. I don’t walk beside that. I step away, stand in truth, and leave judgment in God’s hands.
A father does not own his son. He is only trusted with him for a time.
Grief reminds us how deeply we loved, but wisdom reminds us the time was never promised.

I don’t usually ask for anything, but I ask for prayers for this young man. This is my youngest son, Preston. He has been battling cancer, a brain tumor, since November 2022. He goes under the knife again on Monday, July 7.
F+%k Cancer!
I developed some trust issues with this piece of machinery on a trip with some friends about two months ago, with the potential that it could have left me stranded. Since I’ve been back, it’s maintained those trust issues until it’s stranded me half a mile from home. I’ve had it apart to fix it, and even took it to North Little Rock Honda and put a new front tire on it. The tire was worn out. I took it for a spin just a bit ago, and I’m hoping my trust issues with this piece of machinery will subside. No cut outs no nothing on that little trip. Hopefully, I’ll get back on it and do some things I love, such as Tour of Honor visits and PGR rides.
A great stir arises from the western frontier. Reports reach my ears of a vast and growing multitude descending upon the city of Los Angeles — not of native stock, but travelers from distant lands, crossing into the territory in numbers most formidable. The city groans beneath the weight of their arrival, its order strained, its streets thick with unfamiliar tongues and purpose.
What unfolds there remains to be seen, but I fear this may mark the beginning of a new and uncertain chapter in the chronicles of the republic.
Sound the horns and raise the banner — the valiant Razorbacks of Arkansas have secured passage to the grand battlefield of Omaha! With bat and glove, they fought like wild boars through every inning, and now their journey carries them to the hallowed grounds of the College World Series.
A proud day for our homeland. I shall mark it in the log.
Yes, California Penal Code Section 404.6 PC criminalizes inciting a riot. It applies to urging others to engage in violence, force, or property destruction, including via social media or mainstream media, if it creates a clear, present, and immediate danger of such acts. Intent to cause a riot is required. It’s a misdemeanor, with up to 1 year in jail and/or a $1,000 fine, but can be a felony (up to 3 years in prison) if incitement occurs in a prison or jail and causes serious bodily injury. Recorded evidence, like posts or broadcasts, can be used to prove intent and conduct.
The invasion of the United States continues with the elected officials in the government, including Senators, Representatives, Mayors, Governors, and Judges, supporting it. It is supported by appointing individuals in government by these elected officials, including police administration and appointed judges. This is the highest order of treason and an active insurrection in progress. If this is not corrected before the next federal election of representatives, The United States of America will be defeated within its borders, and the land invasion will subsequently continue. Then the United States will complete its transition to a Socialist Republic, to which, as a veteran, I am appalled that my service meant nothing to these politicians.
