carlos: i don’t think there’s any rivalry. everyone in the paddock wants spain to win. i don’t know why, but everyone, especially the english, who were beaten by argentina, are rooting for spain, “spain has to win, spain has to win!”

still haven’t met anyone who is saying, “well, i hope argentina wins,” except for one. but anyway, let’s see what happens.
