We are so lucky that we have a forest schools site right on our doorstep! This week lots of singing with ukuleles was endured as well as toasting marshmallows and making s’mores 😋 What better way to spend a morning outdoors? 🌳🎶🍪 #forestschool #outdoorlearning #campfire

The Year 5 & 6 performance of ‘Cinderella & Rockerfella’ was sensational! We were blown away by their incredible talent! The singing was amazing and there were so many fantastic solos🎶 Thank you to Mr H who very nearly had to step in as one of the ugly sisters! Well done all ⭐️

The day before sports day, Adam Cross who is a national sprinter who runs the 100m & 200m visited us to train us up for our races! He told us all about his running and daily routine to help him train to be the best he can be. The children were super quick and he was impressed!🏃🏻‍♂️

They also created some amazing Maya animal masks and clay tiles with intricate Maya style patterns on 🎨 #history #art

Year 5 have loved learning about the Ancient Maya! This linked perfectly with their science topic where they were learning about day & night because the Maya used sundials to tell the time! They did an experiment outside to see how the Earth rotated & then designed sundials ☀️🕒

Squirrel class enjoyed spending time sharing books, recommendations, reading to one another and having some snacks at their #booknic morning outside this week! They enjoyed exploring Miss Cross’ new books and finding interesting ways to get comfy 📚🛞🍪🌳☀️ #RfP @OpenUni_RfP
