It's Ryan Taylor & Joe Green! These 2 were solid in the forwards, as they have been year on year. We're incredbily lucky to have these powerhouses back for the new season!
Less then 3 weeks to go for the start of preseason!
Looking to build upon a great season last year, we’re ready to work hard and get some work done before the season starts.
Fancy joining? Come on down!
JUST 1 WEEK TO GO!
During the off season we are going to be running free Touch and Pass sessions on a Wednesday night 7pm!
This is just for fun, no pressure, no experience needed, just turn up and play for an hour!

We need you!
Are you an experienced rugby player or just looking to start a new hobby?
At Barnsley RUFC we are currently recruiting for the 2026/27 season!
Preseason starts June 17th
And finally, to our wonderful physio.
Without her, we’d not have a working ACL in the team. Rachael works week after week, dealing with a bunch of degenerates to ensure we have a team. It’s also her last season with us!
We wish her well in new endeavours, thank you!
Our coaches…
Without their efforts week in and out at training, we’d still be working out a lineup. These guys have dragged a bunch of idiots from a relegation battle to comfortably mid table with grit and determination. #NoCashInvolved
Thank you Kitty, Smiggs and Tyler.
Onto arguably the most important people…
Mark and Sarah have worked endlessly week in week out to keep our players fed, hydrated and accountable for their actions. Without them, we’d be screwed….
Captain fantastic! He’s a rock in the team, in any position. He leads from the front and with his heart. Dan Eaden wins Players Player of the year for a third time, and rightly so!
Not second place this time!
Will Jackson only came to us this year, and while not playing ultimate frisbee, he racked up an impressive amount of Man of Steel points.
Will Jackson is your 25/26 Man of Steel!
Fourth award, the skater boy trophy… sorry, most improved.
This young man didn’t get much game time last year, but has come on leaps and bounds this year. He even scored a 60m penalty try today!
Well done Azza!
Onto the top try scorer…
Once again, this award goes to the lightning fast Tom Hardwick! Will Jackson, second place by 1 try, collects it on his behalf.
Its awards season!
First up, it’s our Clubman (or woman) of the year.
This woman has worked tirelessly as our new safeguarding officer and is spearheading our revitalised junior section.
Congratulations Zoe Lowe, who wasn’t here so her son collected the trophy for her!
