@dorothy_coates I agree I have seen schools use time away from the classroom sensitively and effectively to re-engage a child but children's needs differ and so should our approach.

@AUK_Schools Currently supporting a child who cannot cope with isolation and being alone with their thoughts, result ; school see this as defiance and issues a ten day exclusion!
