@magoniareview@Civixplorer We don't count the "outre-mer" (overseas) territories as part of France either. Most French people wouldn't be able to list all the islands administered by France. We only have 1 time zone.

@SonVlad@pedroromero96@Porkchop_EXP I worked there for a few years. It may depend on the city and the families, but most Lux people are bilingual, (or tri/quadri) 😂 and can easily switch languages. In my case : I heard mostly French. Lux is often not their native language or their preferred language.

And nobody ever spoke German in Metz, except during the Nazi occupation. In Strasbourg Alsatian was spoken maybe 100 years ago.
