The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest. Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract, or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people. This critical and necessary dialogue is then dishonestly framed as being anti-Israel. To be clear, my views come from my own political convictions and should never be interpreted as hostility toward Jewish people, for whom I have deep love and respect.  Everything I know about acting, activism, and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life.

This merger has real consequences for real people, and for the entire country. Scrutinizing the Ellisons, including Oracle’s business built on data, surveillance technology and government contracts, and the serious threat to editorial freedom and the loss of a livelihood for thousands of families, is fair and necessary. The $111 billion deal would hand one family control over CNN, HBO and Warner Bros., backed in part by foreign money whose influence on editorial decisions has never been fully explained to the public. 

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for serious national security review, and regulators still haven’t given the public a real answer. Until they do, the merger shouldn’t move forward. Now is the time to dive boldly into all these issues, not step back or concede.

Sir Anthony Hopkins says he never tolerated tyrannical directors who believed they could bully actors on set.

He recalls one director who started shouting at a young actress while giving her notes. Hopkins immediately stepped in.

“Hold it. You raise your voice one decibel to this lady and i’m going. And you my dear, should leave as well”

Afterward, the actress thanked him. Hopkins then asked how long the director had been treating her that way.

“How long has he been doing that?”

She told him it had been happening throughout the entire film.

For Hopkins, no performance or movie was worth allowing someone to be humiliated on set.

“Don’t raise your voice. It’s a film. It’s a stupid film. That’s all it is. It’s not important.”

あと今でも忘れられないのは、大学の卒業式に袴を着て和装したんですよ。それで帰りに母と祖母と3人でバスに乗っていたら、隣にいたおばあさんにいきなり怒鳴られて。

Dicho de otro modo, varios subnormales que se encuentran a una chica evidentemente afectada por las drogas o el alcohol, y cómo automáticamente pasa a ser un posible blanco al que penetrar, hablando de ella como si fuera un objeto, cuya opinión, sobre si ella quiere o no, no hace demasiada pinta de tenerse en cuenta.
Resultado: un video viral, unos chicos (con camiseta de la selección española, de raza caucásica y con poco acento magrebí) con ganas de hacerse famosos, y un montón de anormales riéndoles las gracias.
Eso si, luego tenemos a influencers, algunos padres/madres, y propietarios de redes sociales, sacando espuma por la boca cuándo se pretende poner un control a la edad de acceso a las redes, al contenido que se visualiza, y al contenido que se divulga.
Nos merecemos un asteroide como el de los dinosaurios, del tamaño de Madagascar.

少し気になるのは、「命は輪廻の中にあるからゴキブリを殺せない」と書きつつ、実際には秘書官が手配した駆除でゴキブリがいなくなった、という部分。

本人が直接殺していないだけで、結果として駆除はさせている。
そこを深刻に倫理矛盾とまで言う必要はないけれど、「私は殺せない。でも他人が処理するのは受け入れる」という形にはなっている。

だから読んでいて、「慈悲深い自分」という自己像の提示と、実際の処理を他人に委ねる現実との間に不気味さを感じる。

正直エンタメとかコンテンツ産業を盛り上げる一番の方法は、あらゆる貧乏クリエイター達が好き勝手に創作できるだけの生活の余裕を作ることにあると思う。
一企業のスマホゲー開発に15億投資するより、個人開発してる人が生活のために週5バイトしなくていいように可処分所得・時間を増やすとかの方が本質。生活の見通しできないからアニメーター引退とか聞くし。
それに結局はアニメ漫画ゲームの原点は個人だから。1を100にするのは人手もお金もいる事業だけど、0から1を作るのはクラスの片隅にいた一人の陰キャ君だったりする。そしてそういう存在はいかんせん社会適応力も生存率も低い。太った丈夫な鯉に餌を上げるより、池の水を綺麗にして小さな鯉が生き残れるようにしてあげるみたいな方が、結果として良い鯉が生まれる。
