Hot Take:
It's not saturated with actual talent.
There's just a lot more tire-kickers than there used to be.
Keep grinding - 95% of them won't stick around.
Reselling popped off in 2020-2021 with easy money from pools, PS5's, GPUs, weights, etc.
As usual, people catch trends 12-18 months too late and so a lot more people joined the frenzy in 2022. The going was still good (in fact, there is more opportunity now than there ever has been before), but it wasn't the easy money of 2020-2021.
You didn't really have to work to make money in 2021. Now you can make a killing but it actually involves a few weeks of learning and then a few hours per week afterwards of implementation.
Newbies who only heard about the "quickly buy this and sell it here and you'll make $5k/week" flood into the market, buying whatever the next hot product is, not realizing that actual reselling takes something they don't want to take the time and effort to acquire: Knowledge & Experience.
As a full-time reseller, group owner and a software provider to over 50 other reselling groups, I have a unique front-row seat for this phenomenon.
New sellers join reselling communities, get all the software/tools and an Amazon seller account... and often leave after just days or weeks.
And they're not leaving to join a new group or to set out on their own (like I said - I'm involved or connected to some capacity with 50+ reselling groups - I see ALL the trends in this industry)
They're just... giving up.
"This is more confusing than I thought it would be."
"I don't have time for this."
"I thought this would be much easier."
A lot of these people even made Twitter accounts with "FBA" or "Reselling" in their handle and are sharing advice on reselling, even though they've never done it themselves for over a month before quitting.
Have a good amount of offer counts gone up on listings?
Yeah, I've seen it - but the Buy Box share hasn't moved yet, bc most of these new sellers don't know what they're doing - and are unwilling to put in the time and effort to learn.
This isn't to shame new sellers - it's to let current ones know, from the perspective of someone who has as much or more insight into the reselling world as anyone out there - that more bodies doesn't mean more competition.
Most of these people give up. They might pop on your listing with 5-10 units but, after (if) they sell out, they're never gonna be on it again.
They've moved onto drop-shipping.
Or wholesale (lmfao if you can't succeed at OA but think you can succeed at wholesale).
Or ghostwriting.
Or short form.
Or day trading.
Or crypto.
Or affiliate marketing (99% of the time it's with a product they have never had success and to an audience they don't have)
If you have the balls to start this and decide: "No matter what, I'm going to give this at least 12 months"...
You've won.
There's no world that you can put actual daily practice into reselling for a full year and not succeed.
It is literally easier now than it has ever been before. At no point in history has there been a larger wealth of information and tools at your disposal to help you succeed in this game than there is today.
There are people doing millions of dollars in sales a year who are giving their secrets away for free every single day on this app - myself included. All you have to do is listen and take action.
Myself, @flips4miles , @KtHUSTLES , @fieldsofprofit , @7FigSaykho , @coreyganim and dozens of other people on this app are doing over $1 Million in sales a year (and daily showing you how you can too) in an area that plenty of new people are claiming is too saturated for them to even get to $10k/mo.

Money is good and all but nothing feels better than someone telling you they started healthier habits because of you. Iโm glad I decided to make my health a main priority in my life and itโs rubbing off on some of those close to me. Life is good.
