Barre Baseball wins their opening game of the District 4 Little League tournament 9-1 over Lyndon. Cam Fortier and Holden Mayo quieted the Lyndon bats on the mound until Barre explodes for 7 runs in the bottom of the 5th highlighted by an inside the park HR by Keegan Bergeron

(2)Sunday’s winners bracket final against Brattleboro was a 1-0 pitchers duel with Barre hurler Miles Marineau coming out on top. Barre completed 10 innings of error free baseball. The championship game will be next Sunday July 21!

Saturdays 10-0 (4 inning) win over Essex was a top to bottom offensive effort and included Holden Mayo throwing 4 shutout innings
Barre wins today to advance to the 2nd weekend of the state championship! 4-1 win over Champlain Valley. Holden Mayo throws 4.2 IP striking out 8 and Keegan Bergeron gets the 1.1 IP save and also drives in 2 with a double.
Our barre 8-10 all stars shot out to a quick 2-0 lead in the 1st inning but can’t put up more, fall 6-2 to Brattleboro in the first round. Elimination game tomorrow morning vs Champlain Valley
Barre wins 2-1 over CVNLL to force a winner take all championship game 5:30 tomorrow night in Barre at Bond Field.
Holden Mayo pitches the first 3 and Miles Marineau the final 3. Keegan Bergeron goes 1-2 and Trevor Day draws 2 walks in the winning effort.
Barre Red knocks off Central VT in a thriller in Barre, 5-2. Zach Bradley pitches 5.2 innings and Barre scores 3 in the 4th inning. Cam Fortier ties it with an RBI single and Keegan Bergeron does the same for the go ahead RBI. Evan Folsom adds a two out insurance RBI.
CVNLL and Barre Red play an extra innings thriller in the winners bracket final. CVNLL gets a bases loaded double play in the bottom of the 6th to escape a jam and brings the momentum into the 7th inning for a 13-3 win.

Cal West takes the lead back in the bottom of the 5th. 2-1 score going to the top of the 6th, Barre needs 1 run to avoid elimination from the little league all stars tournament at Legion Field in St Johnsbury #vtlittleleague
Last nights winners bracket final was suspended in the bottom of the 5th inning. CVNLL is leading Barre Red 3-2 in a nail biter. The game will resume at 10 am tomorrow.
Tonights game between Mad River and Central VT was also postponed until 1 pm tomorrow.
8-10 all stars update: play resumes tonight at Bond Field and many thanks to our friends at Northfield Vermont Little League for hosting a game tonight that was supposed to be played at Cornerstone Field. Communities coming together to help eachother out!
