James O'Brien rages at the damage done by the post-Brexit Conservative Party and Tory politicians' "pathetic ambitions", in this passionate monologue.
@mrjamesob
After 12 years of Tory failure, the British people deserve so much better than this revolving door of chaos.
We need a general election, now.
My full statement:
Britain can’t afford the Tories’ chaos.
My Labour government will provide the stability and leadership needed.
For our economy. For growth. For working people.
General Election, now.
Another PM resigns.
Another PM is to be selected without a mandate from the electorate. Whilst people are worried for their livelihoods we will have another week where the Tories are fighting internally instead of governing.
We need a general election now!
Growing up I didn’t see many people who looked like me making decisions, so I remember where I was when Paul Boateng MP was appointed as the first black person into the Cabinet.
I’m truly humbled to have his support to be the next C&P Lab MP. 1/2
Britain had it all, man.
A strong Pound, a seat at the table in Europe, a Special Relationship with the US, global respect and standing.
Tories flushed it all away, courting UKIP/BNP policies to keep power.
And it wrecked Britain.
Go to the electorate.
#GeneralElection2022
So because a bunch of unelected right wing zealots trashed the economy, we’re back to austerity & all its miseries? Please RT if you want a general election now.
@JohnsonSitu What a wonderful, moving and deserving tribute to Johnson Situ, from Britain’s first ever black Cabinet Minister, Labour’s Lord Paul Boateng
Great atmosphere at Champion Hill this afternoon to see @DHFC_W play out a well-fought goalless draw with @WorthingFCWomen
Top job by @CatherineRose6 with the match announcements.
The cases leading to the Casey Review were vile examples of sexism, racism and homophobia.
The findings of the Casey Review show that these were not just “bad apples". There are fundamental issues with the Met’s misconduct process. 1/2
