Letter to CEO of Waitrose calling for their employee Walker Smith to be reinstated and given a bonus - after he was disgracefully sacked for tackling a shoplifter
As someone who pays for a corporate box and hospitality at St James’ Park whenever I come over from Sweden, I can confirm that the vast majority of us are passionate, dedicated fans who have supported the club for years. However, while I completely understand the frustration of those who expected the same allocation as 2023, I do not believe paying a premium for the privilege of attending matches at home entitles me or anyone else to automatically receive final tickets.
The reality is that demand for Wembley tickets far outweighs supply and the club has had to make difficult decisions. If corporate members want extra tickets they can do as I have done and buy directly through Wembley or other hospitality providers. It is not ideal but that is the reality of a club growing on and off the pitch.
Boycotting home cup games feels counterproductive. If anything, that hurts the team more than it sends a message
@ChronicleNUFC if Joelinton, Dan Burn or Fabian Schär are shown a yellow card against Crystal Palace then they'll be suspended and miss the Reds clash.
