🟠 UPDATE: Footage from inside the ferry shows passengers putting on life jackets shortly before the vessel capsized off Northern Cyprus.

At least seven people are dead, 237 have been rescued and 23 remain missing as search operations continue.

The ferry was carrying 267 passengers and crew.

La región de #Rasuwa en el norte de #Nepal sufrió una devastación masiva debido a una inundación el 26 de agosto. En el pasado, este área era un valle estrecho rodeado de vegetación y edificaciones, pero ahora está cubierta por barro, rocas y sedimentos.

Este desastre fue ocasionado por el colapso de un gran volumen de hielo y roca en el #Himalaya, originando una avalancha seguida por un flujo de desechos de gran magnitud. La corriente afectó 168 km, impactando comunidades, puentes y carreteras a lo largo de los ríos Bhote Koshi y #Trishuli.
