THE VOID x BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA
If deadbeat Ray can rescue his wife from a vicious gang, she’ll have to take him back, right?
The only problem: He has no idea what he’s doing
...and cops trying to pin the abduction on him
Oh, the demons
Them too

For my information, what do YOU call this thing? I grew up calling it a toboggan, or just a 'boggan. I've heard it called a knit cap and we called the ones we were issued a "watch cap" in the U.S. Navy. Whatever you call it, I love 'em.
Had a nasty, generic, off-brand winter cold for the last week and a half that really knocked me out
Feeling better just in time for the arrival of the last of my beta readers' comments on my current MS
Nice!

@alioop326 Yeah, that caught me at first too - but it doesn't really matter, joining one server doesn't exclude you from the others. The only real perk is if it's a small server it shouldn't slow down too much
I cracked and wrote the opening to a new WIP that's been bouncing around in my brain for a while
It's only a paragraph but I can already feel the shape of what's to come and who the MC is
Very happy right now!
#WritingCommunity
@vickielanwrites You can join any mastodon server and still be a part of the overall writing community. Joining one server doesn't exclude you from the others :)
@jmavants One great thing they have is you can follow hashtags, so I followed #WritingCommunity and anyone posting with the tag shows up on my feed and I can follow people from there.
@jmavants You don't have to join any particular server. It's a bit confusing at first but you pick any you like and then you can follow anyone over the whole system (the fediverse they call it).
@MegaeraL If you want to find your twitter followers/mutuals/etc over there, you can use this tool: https://t.co/QdI70h83os as long as they have their Mastodon handles in their bio
@MegaeraL There is, but you can join any server (eg: a locality-based one) and still interact with the writing one (or any other). You can follow #WritingCommunity directly and any posts using the tag will show up on your home feed
A tip for anyone moving elsewhere:
Put your new handle/link etc in your Twitter bio
It helps people find you again with tools like: https://t.co/QdI70h83os
