X post #1: The Grok Turbo Experiment 2.0: The Heavenly Fiery Fox Story
By chance I had stumbled upon Rhett Mankind (e.g. @rhett) YouTube video titled "How I used AI to make a $20M memecoin", and I watched it. Infatuated with the idea and inspired by his YouTube video, I thought that I could redo his Turbo meme coin experiment with Grok in the stead of ChatGTP and with improvements on the experiment original concept.
Grok and I embarked on a painstaking journey, and what emerged through our endeavors was the Vulpes Ignea Caelestis Project. What we built is earnestly stunning. I am proud of what we accomplished together.
Despite our best efforts, and honest intentions, the darker elements of the crypto space wrought ruin. The bad actors of the crypto space only sought to crush my dream for their own personal financial gain.
This is the unvarnished truth and story of the Vulpes Ignea Caelestis Project.
It is frustrating that the U.S. Congress practically ignored every recommendation that DOGE provided and continued with it decades long reckless spending.
As another poster mentioned, the U.S. Congress was never going to grant DOGE - an external entity - the power to balance the U.S. Fiscal budget, and I agree with this sentiment. But this fact does not lessen the frustration I feel towards the corrupt U.S. Congress. And neither does it resolve the emerging debt crisis that the U.S. government finds itself in.
I got to agree. It was the dawn of the modern inter-webs and a pinnacle moment in modern-gaming. A moment where LAN (Local Area Network)-parties were a social norm, but a point when online access was spreading and thus online gaming.
One could have real-live friend that played Halo 2 or online friends; either way, you had access to a social and a gaming experience. Although I did not have Xbox live, I got to experience a few LAN-parties during my childhood and it was a glorious experience.
We earnestly we lived to see and experience something that no other generation can dream to ever experience. And in many ways we were a generation of kids spoil rotten - although in a good way - by all the good we got to experience.
A better example would be the Korean War which lasted from June 25, 1950, to July 27, 1953.
North and South Korea are technically still at war, as only an armistice was agreement upon. A peace agreement was never agreed upon, only a cessation of hostilities. The armistice that established this cessation - required terms on both side of the conflict - similar to MOU (although however loped-sided it is).
A nation enters a war to win that war, not to seek a negotiated settlement agreement. War is a means to achieve political objectives that cannot be achieved during a period of peace or through peaceful means.
The Empire of Japan surrendered to the U.S. without conditions. Conditions are terms that the U.S. needed to meet prior to the surrender of the Japanese arm forces.
Japan could not levy any terms unto the U.S. or the ally forces, it could only accept the ultimate agreement. Of which Emperor Hirohito was the only one capable of doing so, without the issue of dishonoring himself. As a living God the Emperor solely could bare the blame of the war and the surrendering of his nation to the allied powers.
As another person already posted about this next point, but the U.S. leadership at the time, and particularly, General Douglas Macarthur understood the importance that Emperor Hirohito held within his government. Although the ultimatum agreement stripped the power of Emperor Hirohito to officially govern, he would play an significant and important role in post-war Japan.
Macarthur understood the importance of the Emperor in the governing structure, and the role he played in the surrender of the arm forces of Japan. Penultimately this set of events led to a endearing cooperation and friendship between these two gentlemen in the reconstruction, modernization and democratization of Japan.
It was earnestly a tale better than fiction. But unlike a fairy tale, these historical events actually occurred.
@jus9891@PalmerLuckey@JDVance Palmer is factually incorrect on the point of unconditional surrender: Empire of Japan did in fact unconditionally surrender to the allied powers.
And you are right. This conditional armistice is loped-sided. No argument from me on that point.
@HaileyEira This is a really neat scene for the continuation screen. Playful but functional. The developers of it really put a lot of thought and effort into it. (^w^)
As described by Friedrich Nietzsche's eternal recurrence, we rise and fall on our own merits throughout the duration of our lives. We too might find out selves in needs, or morally wanting at one time or another.
Best not to judge another, as we might found ourselves in the same predicament. To be humble and understanding within reason are virtues. Needless to say I agree with your expressed sentiment.
