@NewstalkFM While this is without a doubt an absolute tragedy nothing will change till until the authorities address the core problems like, unaccompanied learner drivers, drivers on multiples of provisional licences, mobile phone use, uninsured drivers,to name but a few.

@GardaTraffic Does ANPR device tell you if the Owner/Driver is on a ProviyLicence/ Learner permit??
If so that would be a great place to start to save lives.
Enforce the laws we already have in place.
Roads would be far safer within 6 months.

@1000waystod1e Looks like an injection moulding machine.When he opens the door it should trip a safety switch,but doesn’t as you can see the back of the machine closes, trapping him in the mould. Second guy then stops the machine, opens the mould and the first guy falls to the ground.

@PatKennyNT @BarryWhyte85 Could I just make the point that privately owned property landlords can do whatever they like with their properties. Government, and Co Councils need to start building and stop endless expensive HAP payments which ultimately is tax payers money.

@BobFlavin Agreed. But nobody knew how bad it could be or knew what they should be doing and in my humble opinion probably making it up as they went along.
Stay in, stay out, masks,no masks, cough in your elbow,no travel outside 2km 😂. Sounds bonkers now but hindsight is a great thing.

@cctvidiots Unfortunately phone usage whether for social media, texting etc seems to have consumed most of the populations every waking hour.
Daily seen on our roads. Crashes are commonplace.
Amazing people think what used to take your full attention now only needs a fraction of it.
