@Reds The Reds and the Brewers have nearly the same salaries being paid. Both small Market teams. The glaring difference is that we're paying a former manager named David Bell and 15 million to a player named candelario. Not very good Scouts and not very good management or development
@Reds The difference between the Brewers and the Reds, the Brewers, other than Christian Yelich, develop the players they draft or trade for in the minors. The Reds draft picks haven't fared well nor are they being developed properly. And the Brewers are small market today like us.
@Reds Reds hitters strikeout 13 times yet failed to reach base via the walk even one time. It looks like they're guessing instead of seeing the ball. Every team knows our tendencies for swinging at balls out of the strike zone. Another year of wasted money on season tickets.
@Reds@ZaedEdwin Top of the 8th explains a lot of this season. Blame it on the hitting coach or lack of Common Sense of the hitters. Suarez struck out on Ball 4, Marte swung it three straight balls out of the strike zone, Stevenson strikes out on three pitches out of the zone.
@Reds In 23 Innings pitched this season,Tater Tony has allowed nine home runs which is approximately 3.5 home runs allowed per 9 Innings. When is enough enough? His appearances in high pressure situations is orchestrated by a Hall of Fame manager. Insanity
@Reds With Stott coming up,why not pull Ashcraft for the lefty? Clearly was having trouble with this control anyway. Buying those season tickets once again, shame on me
@Reds@PNCBank Maybe they're hanging on to Hayes until his bobblehead night is over. Can't see any other reason why he's still playing. They would look pretty bad having a bobblehead night of a player who wasn't on the team.Marte didn't get sent down until 2 days after his bobblehead night.
@Reds You can't expect much more than what you see when you have 4 hitters in your lineup hitting south of .200.How does Valaka still have a job this year?
@histories_arch Before posting a comment I decided to research the issue of when instamatic pictures were available. Polaroid put out an instamatic camera in 1948 making this highly possible. It was an expensive camera at $89, but it didn't say the people on the camera so maybe I had one himself
@Reds If espinal was batting fifth tonight instead of steer, he drives in three runs with sacrifice flies. But since steer was bad in fifth he finished with three strikeouts in those same situations. And why is Blake Dunn still on this roster?
