Wood sandpiper count was 6/7 and 3 curlew sand’s on the Flats . Currently 5 wood sands on view on the flats. Everything else on the flash

Steel high tide roost contained 100 oystercatchers, c 100 redshank, 62 turnstone, 1 dunlin, 2 curlew, 1 Whimbrel, 1 greenshank and a summer plumage Bar tailed godwit.

Whitburn Steel 5 whimbrel, c300 goldies, 48 curlew, 45 turnstone, 83 oystercatchers ( 1 Norwegian rung bird white on green ring could not read!), c90 redshank and much smaller numbers of dunlin, Sanderling and ringed plover. 1 adult + 1 juv Roseate Tern in tern flock.
