The Lagos State University has an AI-powered Support Service for the LASU Central Admission Clearance Application (LACACA) process, reinforcing the University’s commitment to making admission services more accessible, responsive, and efficient.

The new service provides applicants with clear guidance on routine LACACA-related enquiries, enabling them to navigate requirements confidently at every stage of the clearance process.

How the LACACA AI Support Service Works
The LACACA AI Support Service is available through the dedicated support number:

Applicants can interact with the AI-powered service exclusively through text messages and screenshots. The service does not accept audio calls, voice recordings, or video calls.

The AI assistant is configured to provide information on key aspects of the LACACA process, including:
• Admission clearance procedures and requirements
• Required documentation
• Payment-related enquiries
• Clearance status
• Matriculation number-related processes
• Frequently asked questions

Applicants can also use the service to access step-by-step guidance, including the dos and don’ts of clearance, helping them avoid mistakes, misinformation, and unauthorised practices.

The AI service complements, rather than replaces, official human support. It distinguishes between routine enquiries that can be resolved automatically and matters requiring record verification or an official decision. Rent will continue to increase in Lagos. And whether we like it or not, it will teach many people two important lessons.

Lesson number one: it will determine where you can afford to live and where you cannot afford to live.

But if you position yourself early, you give yourself options.

This is the new Lagos reality.

Because what people call "far" today may become a major residential location tomorrow.

What people are ignoring today may become highly sought after in the future.

A mini flat that was manageable a few years ago is now something many people have to think twice about.

That is why you see people moving further to Ikorodu, Agbowa, and even beyond Lagos to places like Mowe and Sagamu.

If you choose a lifestyle your income cannot support, you may end up sacrificing your peace of mind just to pay rent.

But if you adjust early, you give yourself room to breathe financially.

If someone tells you they moved from Yaba to Bariga or from Surulere to the outskirts of Gbagada, do not be quick to judge them.

It is not necessarily a step backward.

It is survival.

The cost of housing is forcing people to make decisions they never imagined they would make.

If one area becomes too expensive, people move to another area.

But when enough people move there, that location also becomes expensive.

By 2030, the reality of rising rent may push many people farther away from the Lagos they once knew.

Look at what is already happening.

People in Victoria Island are quietly moving towards Ajah.

People in Ajah are stretching towards Bogije, Eleko, and other developing sites
