The Yahoo guy in my compound is secretly selling his properties....

I was scrolling through Facebook Marketplace when I came across one of his ads.

He listed the generator he bought for ₦450,000 last year for just ₦250,000.

I used my friend's Facebook account to negotiate with him.

He agreed to ₦200k.

My friend met him at a junction, paid, I went to pick it at night.

This morning, he came to charge his phone in my apartment.

He saw the generator on my verandah, stared at it, left, came back. Stared again. Left again.

When he came to pick up his phone, he said,

"This generator too resemble my own o, they just be like twinne"🧐

My former neighbor sponsored his wife’s education. He bought her a car and took good care of her.

One time, my younger brother overheard her on the phone talking with a man. She hid behind the window while receiving the call.

"If I handle your dick eeh, you go confirm."

I believe my former neighbor later found out about her behavior, so he started punishing her.

He seized her car keys and stopped her from coming to his shop at Lagos island.

They moved out about 2 years later.

I bumped into him one time and saw that he was looking seriously ill.

He died in 2024.

We have two female NYSC corps members serving in our Office.

One is very friendly. She greets everyone, gets along with the staff, and people genuinely enjoy working with her.

The other can be quite rude. Staff members complain about her attitude regularly.

They’ll be passing out soon, and our boss asked HR to evaluate them because he wants to retain only one person.

The rude one is exceptionally smart. She joined the marketing department and has already closed a deal, while the friendly one is still learning and trying to figure out the job.

If they retain the rude one, she’ll likely produce great results, but her attitude is a major concern.

HR asked everyone for their opinion. Out of 10 staff members, 8 said they shouldn’t retain her. One person even volunteered to train the friendly one. 😂

Character is everything.

He said, a church will ask their members to contribute to build a school.

Even the poor members that can't afford 3 square meals daily would contribute their little to build the school.

At the end of the day, their children can't attend the schools because, they can't afford the fees for a school they contributed to build.
