Thank you to everyone who came out to support our announcement today! It was encouraging to see friends, family and residents from all walks of life gathered together in order to spread our positive message of service across the 56th Senate District.
Senator Joe Robach has been diligently representing us for nearly 20 years and is retiring at the end of this year. I am honored to have his endorsement and will carry on his legacy of service to the 56th District as it’s next NYS Senator!
Today is the first day for early voting! The 56th District includes Brighton, Clarkson, Gates, Greece, Hamlin, Parma, and The City of Rochester in Charlotte, Historic Maplewood and the UofR. It’s runs from today through 11/1 and Election Day is 11/3. Be sure to make your vote!
Happy Anniversary to my wife Shannon! 5 years ago today, we were married at one of our favorite places, @OxAndStone. At the end of these long campaign days, it’s the greatest comfort knowing you’re coming home to someone who is waiting for you with a smile. I love you Shannon!
Have we brought you a Barry lawn sign yet? The whole 56th District is going green - don’t get left out! Just send us a request and we’ll bring one over!
As most students and teachers go back to school today (either virtually or in person), its a good time to refocus on the positive things in our lives, and hope for the future. May the good Lord bless us all this school year, and I wish you all good luck and good health!
@graubart Wow – we struck a nerve all the way down to Westchester County. Thanks for proving our narrative that downstate interests want to control upstate to be correct!
I’m sad to hear of Rochester Police Chief Singletary "retiring” today. He’s a good man and definitely not the City official who should be resigning. The lack of leadership from the one party control of the State, City and CE’s office does not seem to be working out well.
Out in #ROC with my friend and colleague @SenatorRobach to support Mike Barry for State Senate. Families in the 56th district can count on @BarryforNY56 to fight hard for them in Albany.
Be sure to follow Mike’s campaign at https://t.co/aXt3AjIQ8U
That moment when your 1 year old makes you laugh so hard that your mask falls off while trying to steal a sip of your coffee. Good thing we were sitting😉
Today marks the 57th anniversary of MLK’s “I Have A Dream” speech. His words are as poignant today as they were in 1963. Let us work together as a community to solve the racial divides that plague us, and bring peace and solidarity to this generation and generations that follow.
Proud to announce that I have received the endorsements from the Locust Club and the Finger Lakes Police Federation! These organizations represent RPD and town police departments within the 56th. Thank you to the men and women who put their lives on the line every day for us!
I’m so grateful to @Sheriff_Baxter for his time and support today as we spoke about the issues we care about. As NY State Senator, I look forward to working with him as we further unite our community. #TeamBarry#PushForward
On this date in 1920, the 19th Amendment finally passed guaranteeing all American women the right to vote. I am grateful to the heroes who made it possible especially when I look at these 2 faces who have a more hopeful future because of them.
