Prestonsburg football coach Brandon Brewer has resigned his coaching position following six seasons leading the Blackcats. Prestonsburg finished (5-6) this past season, falling to Betsy Layne in the opening round of the playoffs.

Coach Brandon Brewer is named the new Head Football Coach at Bath County High School. Brewer previously spent 6 seasons as the Head Football Coach at Prestonsburg High School, then before that he was at Powell County. Coach Brewer is a great hire for the Wildcats, he will quickly change the culture around the Bath County Football program!
Prestonsburg’s Braxton Keathley scored 31pts in the Blackcats 65-64 win over Paintsville. Complete team victory for all the Blackcats, Prestonsburg is on their first 6 game win streak in a decade and last night secured their first ever victory at the Appalachian Wireless Arena!!
BOYS BASKETBALL - Prestonsburg rallies in 2nd half behind a 34-point effort by Braxton Keathley to win their 5th-straight game, 77-72 over Floyd Central.
The win gives Blackcats (11-5) their longest winning streak since they won 6-consecutive games in 2014.
