@kalosphilo@MeghanEMurphy Yeah, you do you. If it works, then good job.
I'm just thinking about it, thinking about what makes sense for society at large. But you're not beholden to what's accepted or normal. At least not strictly.
I'm not sure what you're not liking about it. Is it because the chase is part of the whole selection process?
But I heard women want good politics, good salary, good height, and a man who doesn't know how to enjoy games. We can figure all that stuff out probably. Does the showing-interest part of the selection process really matter that much?
I think we're holding on to traditions here that are simply no longer practical.
You do? That's great for you. Women in general don't like it. And, anyway, legally the man is way more at risk.
So just have the women approach the men they find interesting. It solves a whole lot of problems.
That way the feminists can be happy, because men will only be in their lives when they need them to be. Women don't have to complain about getting so much attention all the time. And men don't have to worry about the whole reading into things wrong part, and not as much about the legal liabilities.
I think for most it's a win-win.
Hmm yes, so I'm not super perturbed about accusations and theories and all that, because I'm learning that republicans and democrats just always do this dance.
Some concerns that are raised are interesting. The ease with which someone can vote illegitimately seems a bit absurd if true.
I don't know if it's true that witness signatures aren't really checked very well, and all that.
@NateField3@StanphylCap@ZeekArkham It is interesting that Bass voters didn't vote through mail-in ballot much. And Raman voters totally did, a completely different approach.
Raman speaks to the youth, right? And Bass speaks more to the older voters? So maybe the youth tend to use mail-in ballots more.
🇬🇧 The UK has banned White middle-class men from applying for paid internships in taxpayer-funded organizations that work for Parliament.
At the National Audit Office, applications are only open to women of black heritage or from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
At MI5, MI6 and GCHQ, White applicants are explicitly excluded — positions are reserved for Black, Asian, mixed heritage or ethnic minority candidates.
This is open, state-sanctioned racism and sexism against White British men.
The Equality Act allows “positive action” to address “under-representation.”
In practice, it means it’s perfectly legal to discriminate against White men.
What the hell is happening to this country?
Institutionalized anti-White racism is now official policy.
The British people are being erased from their own institutions.
This cannot stand.
@TheTrueXProphet@bennyjohnson So we would expect all the democrat candidates receive a somewhat representative amount of votes from the mail-in ballots, hmm?
@KarolineGosling I mean most people agreed that women should just be able to vote. The time between all men being able to vote and all women being able to vote was very short.
@novakrome77@poliwa_93 For instance, I find it really upsetting how much of our resources and talent are discarded designing games that we all know would reach 100k people at most, because they 'believe' there is a massive modern audience that plays games and hates white male gamers as much as they do.
@novakrome77@poliwa_93 Well, people don't like it when irrational ideology attacks them for doing nothing wrong, and forces characters to be one-dimensional, ugly, and narratives to be out of touch.
It's more the destruction of beloved developers and franchises and the disrespect to gamers in general.
I think that's what is happening: In the mind of the 'left' it is a 'patriarchy' and men are the oppressors. So in their mind they cannot harm men enough, and men can easily fight back as they have all the power.
The idea that they as the 'left' may have crushed the spirit of the innocent in their blind rage, is not an idea they'd want to consider.
@TRHLofficial I would have said not long ago that if anyone can carry around a knife it's a Sikh because due to their culture and belief system they would never hurt someone.
But you know, I was wrong about that. They're all human, still. Sometimes I'm naive. It can get people killed.
Feminism is keeping rules at play in UN departments where they have reached their target. Rules against the law, that disadvantage men from being hired.
Feminism isn't stopping the female-only programs at universities even when women are doing better with assignments adjusted to favor women, get graded higher for the same work, are more easily hired. They're pushing men out, now.
Feminism is actively opposing the reveal of the situation of men in society. Like with the attempt to cancel that Red Pill documentary. I understand not liking MRA's. But feminism gives breathing room to extremist feminists, but not to anyone who highlights things differently in the other direction.
I have lost hope in feminism and if you haven't, I don't know why. Maybe you see things I don't.
Nobody believes this anymore. Come on. Looking at the history of feminism even its roots, almost none of it was about equality. Punishment maybe. Sexism, sure. But equality? Even now, wherever equality is reached and then some, feminism isn't hitting the breaks is it?
Is it hitting the breaks in the UN? Nope. Education? Nope. Sexist hiring practices? Nope. Feminism isn't about equality. Who on Earth still honestly thinks that? It's a nice veil. Like saying Antifa stands for anti fascism and that's all there's to it.
I guess it enables you to get away with almost anything as long as you keep up appearances. We all know better.
