We are the events industry: an industry worth over £70bn, employing 600k and we will reignite the UK economy and reunite the people. But we need immediate support and protection. https://t.co/1l4GkaQDxS

@JollyGoodBeer Bigger question... Why in the age of everything being online do we have accountants at all? We've moved before, but still have to go double check things, we were invoiced for July's payroll yesterday....... 🙄
Increasingly coming across clients who are being told they will not get their deposits bk from wedding suppliers. This is disgusting, if you have incurred no cost, either give it bk or hold it till a suitable date can be found. Don't use a global pandemic to justify your cashflow
The banks were lent over £850 billion during the credit crunch. £330 billion for the actual employers 10 years on seems paltry. Fix the CBIL so it actually works. @BorisJohnson

@ChairEIB @NOEAnews@BVEP@DCMS It is ALL about event supply chain businesses & freelancer support. Vast majority of freelancers are employed by supply chain companies not venues direct. The business support offered completely misses this. Loans 4 cashflow will result in less money 2 the treasury down the line
@JollyGoodBeer Shite, sorry was trying to find a positive. Various 'connected' people still pushing to open up the rates and grants to those that don't have retails elements to their b rates. I live in hope.
