Dalmia Bharat has been a valued partner in Assam’s growth journey. Since beginning its investment in the State in 2012, the company has invested over ₹6,000 crore in cement and renewable energy and has now proposed a further investment of ₹10,200 crore in Assam.

Today, as Assam faces the challenges of floods, their generous support carries a special meaning. It reflects a relationship with our State that goes beyond investment- a bond of trust, partnership and solidarity with our people.

More people are now being accommodated in relief camps, with over 80,000 people sheltered across the State, and our rehab efforts continue at full scale.

Assam and Arunachal Pradesh have resolved most boundary issues, with only 52 areas remaining, for which Regional Committees have been reconstituted.

I request Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri @PemaKhanduBJP ji to order an enquiry into this unfortunate incident.

We are working on replicating our Model Housing Colony project in the flood hit areas to make them self sustaining areas replete with all facilities.

We are also in talks with @NDDB_Coop to build those areas as dairy hubs to give an impetus to the communities.

Assam is rapidly moving towards transparency in Govt procurements with a shift to Govt e-Marketplace.

The State has witnessed a 1400+% rise in procurements in GeM portal at ₹2,659cr, a feat recognised by @DoC_GoI.
