It was a Schuylerville sectionals sweep on the lacrosse field this weekend!
After the boys secured a Section 2 championship Saturday, the girls followed up Sunday, defeating Voorheesville, 12-9, in the Class D final to land the program’s fourth section title in six seasons; first since 2023!
Schuylerville had their streak of 3 straight titles snapped by Voorheesville in the 2024 Class D final, so this was a bit of a revenge game for the Black Horses, who restore their place atop the class.
Sophomore Avery Cumm (younger sister of Landen & Blake Cumm - multi-sectional champions in lacrosse and football), put on a scoring clinic, tallying a game-best 6 goals. It helps when you have a facilitator like Ashlyn Abrami, who racked up 4 assists to go along with 2 goals, as she and Cumm combined for 12 points. @Sville_Lax@BaseballHorses
The Black Horses are now state tournament-bound and will await the Section 10 champion in a regional final next Saturday in Potsdam.
