My favorite thing in the @YogiBerraMuseum is this incredible, one-of-one charcoal drawing of Grampa Yogi done by the great LeRoy Neiman in the stands at Ft. Lauderdale Stadium at #Yankees spring training in 1964. And it almost ended up in the trash.
If you want to change someone's life, you don't have to move mountains.
You just have to show up.
I've been sending a daily email for years now. Every morning.
I've been divorced twice. Fired three times. There were days I didn't have much to offer anybody.
But God has a way of taking your mess and turning it into your message.
Sending daily emails wasn't some grand plan. It grew out of a mentoring group, a small circle of people trying to grow together. And when that was over, somebody called me and said, "We miss it. Don't stop."
So I didn't.
Now over 10,000 people open that email every morning.
And I don't send it because I have it all figured out. I send it because I was the guy who needed it once, and I know there are people out there who need it right now.
Being of service doesn't require a big platform. It just requires a willing heart and the courage to keep showing up.
Do you get my daily emails?
If not, just tap the link in my bio to sign up. They're free.
Make a difference today.

After a VERY exciting World Baseball Classic, baseball is enjoying a tremendous boost in its popularity. When the current MLB collective bargaining agreement ends after the 2026 season, who's going to be the adult in the room to make sure there isn't a work stoppage?
On the "Knee-Jerk Reaction" edition of the Two-Minute Drill podcast, it seems that Bo Bichette's slow start with the Mets has aroused the ire of at least one legendary over-the-top Mets fan. Full episode is here - https://t.co/PAXPnSWCQe

I’m sharing a gem that I read once a month as a reminder….
Do you know your purpose?
By Charles Schultz
Is it clear in your mind why you are here?
Often I've found that people think they have a clear purpose, but confuse it with passion.
A purpose isn't just about what you enjoy currently.
It's a deeper connection to what you do.
It's the North Star.
The magnetic pull of north on a compass.
The reason why these things are often used to describe purpose, is because they never move.
They're constant and reliable.
Passions have a tendency to shift throughout life and pull you in new directions.
Purpose stays true, always.
It's the beacon that always pulls you back on course.
Without this beacon we wander.
We find ourselves lost amongst the many distractions of this world.
Don't let the next shiny object take you away from what you were meant to do.
Take time this year and connect yourself to who you really are.
What I found is this:
Write out all the various passions you've had in your life.
Then from there, dissect each one.
What about that particular passion lit you up?
Why did you find that passion something worth chasing?
What you'll find is a connecting line between the things you've loved and who you are.
You weren't randomly drawn to a passion.
You found passion for a thing that spoke to a part of who you are.
Each passion expresses your purpose in a different way.
Usually, it helps to peel back the layers and reveal the core of who you are over time.
Once you start to peel back the layers and find the connecting pieces, you can start to link the chain together.
With each new addition to who you are, the chain becomes stronger and you get closer to who you really are.
When you unlock your purpose in life, you take the first step to discovering greatness.
Make a difference today.
Love Clint

It's my favorite time of the entire year.
Opening Day.
I've been part of over 50 Opening Days in baseball as a player, a coach, and a manager.
And I still get the exact same feeling I got at 17 years old pulling on a uniform for the first time.
The crack of the bat in BP. Fresh chalk on the lines. The smell of the infield grass.
There's nothing like it in this world.
On this day, everybody is tied.
Every team walks in at 0-0. No wins. No losses.
Same starting line for everyone.
My first Opening Day as manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates, I looked around that clubhouse and told myself one thing: we're going to make this city proud.
That hope? That clean slate? You don't have to be in a baseball uniform to feel it.
Every single day is an Opening Day if you choose to treat it that way.
I put over 50 seasons of that kind of thinking into my book, Hurdle-isms.

With both Gerrit Cole and Carlos Rodon expected to join the Yankees rotation in either late May or June, getting off to a slow start isn't necessarily a bad thing for the Yankees. Full episode is here - https://t.co/xQrM8V2veQ All episodes are here - https://t.co/9fHpVsfnIY

Tomorrow night is a big night for our family.
12 years ago, Karla and I started the Clint Hurdle Hot Stove Fundraiser with one simple goal; to make a difference for kids like our daughter Maddie.
Maddie was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome. A deletion of the 15th chromosome. No off switch for hunger. No cure. But a whole lot of fight, joy, and grace.
She never got asked on a date. Never went to prom. But every year this night is her night. And it means everything to us.
Tomorrow, as part of our 12th Annual Hot Stove Fundraiser, we'll be auctioning off some incredible items:
🏆 Steve Garvey Autographed Jersey
🏆 Ted Williams Autographed Framed Jersey
🏆 Clint Hurdle Autographed Framed Jersey
⚾️ Many other MLB Items
💎 Jewelry
⛳ Golf Trips
✈️ Exclusive Luxury Vacations
...and more.
Every dollar raised goes directly to the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association supporting families who are walking the same road Karla and I walked when we first got the diagnosis.
Can't make it in person? No problem.
The auction is online so anyone, anywhere can bid and support these incredible kids.
Tap the link in my bio to place your bid.
God puts people in our lives to grow us in ways we couldn't get to on our own.
Maddie's proof of that every single day.
Make a difference today.
Love, Clint.
