Don't listen to anyone who trots out the old saw about how much inflation devalues the dollar without also discussing real wage gains. The dollar has lost over 97% of its value since 1900 but wages have increased faster. In other words, the average worker’s wage buys about 4 times as much in goods and services today as it did in 1900. For many people the best way to beat inflation is to increase their wage potential, not just their return on capital. If you are a janitor, learn how to weld or do plumbing, etc.

The core problem with California's election system is that it allows for the casual observer to assume that fraud happened. You correctly stated that no one knows for sure that fraud did/did not happen. The methodology makes it impossible to know. In a race that's coming down to thousands of votes out of millions cast, it is not far fetched to think that small scale uncoordinated fraud could actually work. For example, harvesting ballots from memory care units at old folks homes. I can think of lots of ways to try to cast or destroy mail-in ballots in a fraudulent manner. The fact that the mail in ballots exist in the first place is the problem.
