This is very much to the point though - the fight over Bowman led to efforts spearheaded by DSANYC and the national caucuses in charge of the chapter which resulted in the literal liquidation of an entire Palestine-centered national working group. Like they were NOT happy at all.

A) that often raises rents to offset costs
B) a lot of immigrant families bought homes in the 90s back when it was affordable, and frankly are financially struggling more than a lot of renters

Why would Platner seek public office, knowing reporters are gonna be everywhere, and this crazy stuff is gonna come out?
