Wishing all who are celebrating a joyful Diwali! May we be reminded on this special day, and all days, that God’s love has the power to dispel all darkness and fill our lives with light, peace and joy.
Many of if the anti Diwali posts/replies- the obviously bot accounts, some of them are not even in USA. They (Muslims/Chinese) pretend to be Americans to stoke the anti Hindu hatred. Sadly some RWs buy this and think “everybody” hates Indians. Yet Trump is celebrating Diwali!🫰
An extraordinary investigation by Bangladesh’s leading newspaper, Prothom Alo, has exposed a Chinese influence operation in Dhaka. More than 150 Chinese streamers have been livestreaming on WeChat from the city’s slums for months, presenting the locations to their Chinese audiences as New Delhi, India.
Prothom Alo investigated the activity, examined their Chinese-language broadcasts and had the translations verified by four Bangladeshis familiar with the language. The findings are quite revealing. The streamers were not merely misidentifying the location. They were portraying Indians as living in filthy, impoverished conditions, while describing the surroundings as New Delhi. One woman was even caught explicitly telling her viewers that she was showing them New Delhi while livestreaming from a neighbourhood in Dhaka.
This is how information warfare and perception-shaping work. Footage from Bangladesh is being deliberately passed off as footage from India to manufacture negative perceptions of the country. A disturbing example of how anti-India narratives and hate campaigns are manufactured and amplified through social media.
Chamath Palihapitiya admits his blind spot on America's broken two-tier economy
PALIHAPITIYA: "I got it totally totally totally wrong. I got it totally wong."
"I'll go through all the ways in which I got it wrong, but I just want to first acknowledge what my blind spot is. Like most people's blind spots, but I can just speak for myself, it is through the lens of my own lived experience and very narrowly what is in my best interests. And I think what we had was a move away from the culture wars that was very much in my best interest, but I think it was in everybody else's best interests as well. I don't think that was on the ballot. But what I don't think I understood clearly enough, and I think that this election has made extremely clear, is that since COVID, we have moved past political ideology. And I want to say this again: I do not think Democrats or Republicans matter. That is my real takeaway after this election. There is a central block of people that vote the prescient issues of our time."
"It was a gargantuan win for Biden, then it was a gargantuan win for Trump, and then it was a gargantuan win for the Democrats in these midterms. What are these people voting for? I think what they are shouting now—they were trying to signal and now they are shouting—is a broad-based belief that the economy has completely decoupled from reality and is broken. The economic reality in America is broken."
"There is a small percentage of people, the four of us on this pod and all of our friends, who are the asset owners of America. And we have benefited in every weather condition. When rates were zero, we benefited because we were able to build our businesses with very cheap capital. When rates were high, we benefited because we had pricing power. And in every condition in between, whether there were tariffs, whether there were not tariffs, whether there were subsidies, whether there were not subsidies, we've all managed to continue to accumulate and grow assets, but we are few and far between."
"And then there's everybody else who are wage earners, and the structural capacity of the American economy to support and grow wage earners is broken. It's clear. Why do I say that? I do not think, and I disagree with Freeberg, I don't think this has anything to do with socialism. I don't think the far left won particularly more than they were expected. I don't think the far right won particularly more than was expected. This is a complete and total repudiation about the state of the economy. The economy is broken. I have a few charts to support my point of view. Number one, if this was ideological and if ideology mattered, money in politics would have had a more direct impact on the election."
Texas is 38% white and 41% Latino
Trump won over 50% of the Latino vote in 2024
Abbott did not in 2026
This demographic was the election decider. Not H-1Bs (who can’t vote) or Indian US citizens (they make up less than 3% of Texas population)

1 year ago, @ScottAdamsSays predicted Trump would *ultimately* have the greatest presidential approval rating in history.
"The most natural arc for where this ends up is that Trump's poll numbers will continue to drop until — to borrow his language — no one's ever seen anything like it."
"He might break records for the lowest popularity of a sitting president."
"The second part of the prediction is that by the time he leaves office — but it could be maybe shortly after — he'll have the best poll numbers of any president of all time."
"But you're going to have to wait to find out if I'm right about that."
The first part of Scott's prediction already appears to be coming true.
The second part remains to be seen.
But Stephen Miller is exactly who Trump would appoint as his Chief of Staff for a historic final 2 years of accomplishments.
Never count out Trump's ability to make an epic comeback.
Scott was a legendary predictor.
Dems are gonna push through a bill 💰 that you won’t believe is even possible.
They’re gonna rebuild everything that was taken away from them. And unlike the defection votes in the gop, Dems won’t have that problem.
They will kill all the growth engines.
Gonna be interesting
There’s a revolution happening in the Trump administration right now.
I am shocked about who I am hearing from - senior leaders throughout the government who are ready to take off the shackles and get BIG things done for the American people - which is what @StephenM and @POTUS want.
I can’t stress this enough: some of President Trump and RFK’s strongest campaign promises deal with institutional reform that democrats ran on too - not innately partisan issues.
Don’t let the media talk us down. We can get BIG things done in the next year - and Americans want that.
