@bendreyfuss@EsotericCD Because Voter ID will be on the ballot in November, and they need to make sure no GOP candidate is on the ballot to depress turnout.
In 2016 and 2016, the California legislature passed two laws that made it legal to get paid to handle someone else's mail-in ballots and made it legal for non-relatives to handle a mail-in ballot. Widespread ballot trafficking ensued. Here are the general election mail-in ballot shares in the past 5 general elections:
2016: 58%
2018: 65%
2020: 87%
2022: 89%
2024: 81%
California's mail-in ballots require no ID, and have no effective check on signatures or other personal verification meaning that someone who finds a live ballot on an apartment complex's mail room floor could easily vote it and it would be accepted.

@GeraldoRivera Or the US wants to embargo Iran’s oil and doesn’t mind the strait closed as we control a massive amount of the world’s remaining oil and natural gas. This is as much about China as it is about Iran.
Here’s what blows my mind: The primary in Maine has not happened yet. Janet Mills is technically still on the ballot. Democrats could rally around the popular, normie, statewide elected official and ditch the Nazi guy who fantasized about rape, sexted a dozen women, and visited apps known for pedophilia. But they won’t.
There is a huge difference….Mark Levin, Rachel Maddow, Jen Psaki, Sean Hannity, etc don’t pretend to be non-partisan. Audiences know what they are getting and are aimed at that. No problem.
60 minutes was intended to be investigative journalism, not party talking points. It needs to get back to that and (hopefully) that is what will happen.
@49ersSportsTalk@9ersmuse As much as I loved Gore…..it’s CMC and it isn’t close in my opinion, simply due to the versatility.
But CMC is probably one of only a few RBs in history I’d take over Gore. Gore was a beast!
II think this is a strong list but I’m not as concerned about 4 (Purdy to Evans being “elite”). I think as long as he is a legit threat, especially in the red zone, that’s enough to open up Kittle, CMac and others. Don’t need 1500 yards and 100 receptions, but do need WR1 capability and consistency.
I’d take 70 receptions, 950 yards and 7 TDs from Evans honestly.
@willchamberlain Completely disagree…..Restore keeps Reform from wandering too far back to the center. It’s a counterbalance that’s desperately needed.
@ABC@stevensongs It’s the wrong link, you say “likely” connects (they don’t know) yet also say a well known street but don’t name the street?
WTF nonsense post is this?
