Cycle 2 is officially underway, and we’re taking a big step toward shared stewardship + long-term sustainability.

As mentioned in our last update prior to cycle 1 snapshot, We’ll be forming a Vault Guardian Council — a small, application-selected group of actual token holders who will help manage Cycle 2 vault assets using a multisig.

This is not a DAO in the traditional sense, and not a whale-weighted power grab. It’s a conservative, security-first group focused on keeping the vault healthy and transparent. 🛡

🧠 What Vault Guardians DO:

✅ Propose & approve vault asset rotations (e.g., adjusting asset mix)
✅ Recommend/approve yield platforms within a conservative risk framework
✅ Help respond to risk events (depegs, hacks, insolvency rumors, etc.)

📣 Cycle 1 Snapshot + Important Protocol Updates

Monstas - Cycle 1 is nearing its finale, and it’s time to lock in the details for the snapshot, the burn-to-claim window, and some important updates to how future cycles will work.

Please read carefully so you’re fully prepared. 👇

🗓 Cycle 1 Snapshot: January 8th, 2026, 6pm UTC

ℹ️ The Snapshot records:
- Your $MONSTA balance (determines how much you must burn to claim)
- Your Vault Keys (full sets qualify for the Bonus Vault airdrop)
- Note: Whatever the snapshot captures is the exact amount you’ll need to burn during the claim window to receive your Cycle 1 vault share.

🔥 Burn-to-Claim Window: January 10 – January 31, 2026

- Burn the exact snapshot amount to receive your Cycle 1 vault payout
- No Burn = No vault rewards for the cycle
Note: Any unclaimed vault shares roll into the Cycle 2 Primary Vault

You may trade after snapshot, but if you plan to claim, you must reacquire your snapshot amount and burn it before Jan 31st. This is where strategy and game-theory come into play.🧠

✍️ Updates to Future Cycles ( ⚠️Important)

We’ve simplified the protocol to make it more sustainable going forward:
- No new token launches - $MONSTA continues into Cycle 2 and beyond
- Cycles become a clean loop: Snapshot → Burn-to-Claim → Rollover → Yield → Repeat
- Keys & Bonus Vault are Cycle 1 only (while never promised for future cycles, we want to make this clear and reiterate)

🛡 Vault Guardians will be introduced to help oversee vault allocations via multisig

These changes reduce complexity and create a clearer long-term model for the ecosystem.

💰 Cycle 1 → Cycle 2 Airdrop (One-Time Only)

Because future cycles won’t use new token launches, the original C1→C2 airdrop concept is being honored through a one-time MONSTA airdrop, funded using existing supply (treasury + buybacks).

Eligibility:
- Only wallets that fully burn their snapshot amount
- Your share = proportional to your burn compared to the total burned by all participants
- There are no further MONSTA airdrops planned for later cycles.

🔑 Keys to the Vault (Cycle 1 Only)

- Holding all 12 Keys in one wallet at snapshot qualifies you for the Bonus Vault airdrop
- You do not need to burn your Keys
- The entire Bonus Vault is split evenly across full Key sets
- No new Keys will be created in future cycles
