CONGRESS MUKT BHARAT? REMEMBER WHO MADE THAT ARROGANT DECLARATION?

No, Mr Modi. You cannot have a Congress-Mukt Bharat. Because you cannot erase the soul of India. I think you always knew it, but yesterday you saw it at close proximity near your own home.

India’s DNA carries the indelible legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Lala Lajpat Rai, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and countless extraordinary men and women who sacrificed, struggled and dreamed of a free India.

They did not fight for a country where one man would become bigger than its Constitution. They did not sacrifice their lives so that democracy could be reduced to the whims of a ruling party. They did not give up their lives so that some snake- oil salesman would done day destroy the Idea of India they curated: a democratic socialist republic, inclusive, secular and united.

They fought for freedom. For dignity. For equality. For justice. For INDIA. Not for a few sugar daddies who ran the country like their VIP lounge in a glittering skyscraper.
You can ridicule the Congress. You can abuse its leaders. You can spend billions calling Rahul Gandhi names. You can unleash political propaganda, rewrite history, misuse institutions and attempt to intimidate the opposition. But you cannot delete history. You cannot extinguish an idea. And you cannot defeat the collective conscience of 1.4 billion Indians. The Gen Z, with Neha Bora and Abhijeet Dipke leading them, are India’s future. Don’t barricade them. They will push back. As will the Congress.

In short, Mr Modi, you wanted a Congress-Mukt Bharat. But India was never meant to be Opposition-Mukt. It was meant to be Fear-Mukt. Hate-Mukt. Injustice-Mukt. Corruption-Mukt. And that is the India we shall fight for. I am sure you will agree that it is a legitimate cause.  Before I forget, banning Jantar Mantar as a protest site was a petty move. Terrible. The optics are awful for you personally. Your advisers are misleading you, Prime Minister.

I saw the protest rally in Delhi yesterday on my TV screens in Mumbai, and told myself: Yesterday Once More.

The struggle has only just begun, Sir!

I still get shaken when I think about what happened yesterday.

During the protest, I was caught in the middle of the crowd when the Delhi Police pushed us, and I fell to the ground. Within seconds, people started falling over me. Some of the feet pressing down on me were those of Delhi Police personnel, while a few others were fellow protesters caught in the chaos. I was trapped beneath the crowd, with people stepping on my chest. I couldn’t see, I couldn’t breathe properly, and for a moment, I genuinely felt that this could be the end of my life.

And then, suddenly, I saw Rahul Gandhi Ji’s feet.

I grabbed his pajama and shouted loudly, “Bhaiya, please help me. Please help me.”

Rahul Gandhi Ji immediately reached out and helped pull me up, while Priyanka Gandhi Ji stepped in and stopped the crowd from crushing me further, helping me get out of that situation.

I was later detained and taken away in a police bus, and I suffered injuries in the process. But I keep thinking about one thing - if Rahul Gandhi Ji and Priyanka Ji had not intervened at that exact moment, I don’t know if I would be here today writing this.

Rahul Gandhi Ji & Priyanka Ji, yesterday, you were not just leaders to me. You were the people who reached out when I needed help the most.

Thank you for saving my life.

कुछ हफ्तों पहले शाहीन और नफ़ीसा ने साकेत थाने के अंदर अपने साथ हुई हिंसा और बदसलूकी की आपबीती सुनाई है। सोचिए, थाने के अंदर - वो जगह जहां महिलाएं शिकायत लेकर जाती हैं।

जिन पर महिलाओं की रक्षा की ज़िम्मेदारी है, वही आज उनके लिए ख़तरा बन रहे हैं। और दिल्ली पुलिस किसके अधीन है - यह पूरा देश जानता है।

साकेत थाने का पूरा CCTV फुटेज सार्वजनिक किया जाए। दोषी पुलिसकर्मियों पर तुरंत कार्रवाई हो। शाहीन, नफ़ीसा और जिनके साथ भी दिल्ली पुलिस ने हिंसा और बदतमीज़ी की है उनको न्याय मिले।

The truth is out: The Supreme Court has clarified that it never approved the modified Form 6 used during SIR.

Yet on September 26, the ECI claimed the declaration attached to Form 6 had been upheld by the Supreme Court.

This is significant, especially as reports say Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi had objected to the changes.

So the key question remains: If the Supreme Court did not approve the change, and two Election Commissioners objected, who authorised the modified Form 6 and under what legal authority?
