This is why I work for myself and not for others.
I don't do remote work for "my own convenience" I do it because I find being a father to my child is more important than providing shareholder value.
it was pretty amusing when my non computer science friends did not believe me when i said i was doing my homework all weekend. "what do you mean you can't come out to the party? just take a break" no you dont understand i actually have to spend every waking hour on this

Your twenties are only as good as your family is rich. If they have money, it's a decade of frivolous travel, partying, and entertainment. If they don't have money, it's a miserable low experience point grind until you eventually have the means of standing on your own.
