@HumaNaaz85 Absolutely.
When you're scared out of your wits, it's often better to make peace with those in power. If you're a Muslim, no one is going to come to your rescue when things go south, even if you're a Member of Parliament. We've seen that happen with Azam Khan and former TMC MLA.

This reminds me of a conversation I can personally vouch for.
I still remember covering the demolition in Sendhwa, Madhya Pradesh. At a time when families had lost everything, @asadowaisi was deeply concerned not just about the victims, but also about those trying to help them. His warning wasn't about stopping relief efforts. It was about protecting activists from becoming targets while ensuring aid reached those in need.
What many people don't know is that he also extended direct support to the affected families. During that demolition drive, he contributed тВ╣1 lakh to each of the 13 families whose homes were bulldozed.
Whether one agrees with his politics or not, concern for both the victims and those standing with them is something I witnessed firsthand.

@savedemocracyI Among those 20 MPs, was Yusuf Pathan the only one you could see?
Who are the other 19?
Most people don't even know their names.
The real question should be this: how did a party formed in 2023, which received fewer votes than NOTA, end up getting 20 Members of Parliament?
