Market Profiles Across Timeframes

Every timeframe has its own market profile (trend). Your job is to identify which profile is currently in control and expect it to continue until the market proves otherwise.

A market profile will usually seek liquidity at Key Levels (KLs), previous highs, or lows. Until the market clearly breaks structure and changes character, assume the current profile remains valid.

The most important rule is to trade continuation, not prediction.

A Daily reversal can simply be a Weekly or Monthly continuation.

An H4 reversal can simply be a Daily continuation.

An M15 reversal can simply be an H4 continuation.

This is why traders should always start from the higher timeframe and work their way down. The higher timeframe provides the narrative, while the lower timeframe provides the execution.

Rule to remember:

Never trade against the higher-timeframe market profile unless the higher timeframe itself has confirmed a change. Until then, every pullback or reversal on the lower timeframe is simply an opportunity to join the dominant trend.
