Saturday's S & C with RTL rugby players from villages in Labongo-Akwang, Kitgum-Matidi, Mucwini-West & Mucwini in Kitgum District. None had ever set foot in a gym before Saturday. Lack of access to the gym shouldn't be a barrier.

No gym? No problem!

Today was full. Had video analysis, S & C, & rugby sessions with my RTL coaches & referees in Kitgum District. No gym, no problem. We improvise! We used logs, rocks, & jerricans filled with sand. 🤗 Afterwards we ate mangoes directly off the tree. 🤤😍

The afternoon session started with the players watching the skills they had practiced in the morning being done by professionals (HSBC 7s). Afterwards they played games to apply everything that they had learned on pitch & via the videos to game situations.

The RTL coaches trained yesterday ran this morning's S & C session & ball work session with select female & male players from village/parish teams from Mucwini, Mucwini West Labongo-Akwang & Kitgum-Matidi subcounties.

The players can replicate this back home.

Wow what a journey we are moving with @RugbyTackling from 7s rugby tournaments to 10s now we advance to 15s having different subcounties forming 6 15 aside teams tells it all. The impact RTL has put up is very visible in these communities come support the girls and boys at mucwin
