I had the honor of giving a keynote speech at my alma mater The Aga Khan University Hospital (Pakistan) on “Milestones in Interventional Cardiology, and Future Challenges” at annual #PULSE Conference. It was indeed a privilege to discuss what I have been able to achieve since moving back to Pakistan, including establishment of international standards institution -Tabba Heart Institute, starting Cardiac Registry of Pakistan (CROP), #FCPS in Interventional Cardiology to writing Standards and Best Practices document for cardiac Cath Labs in #Pakistan and starting one of the largest longitudinal cohort #PAK #SEHAT study in Pakistan, which will prove to be a mini Framingham of South Asia despite all the challenges one has to face in Pakistan.

This World Heart Day, we at Tabba Heart Institute took a major step towards promoting heart health with our #Cycling event, bringing together over #400cyclists from various groups. The event was not just about cycling; it was about raising awareness of the importance of regular physical activity in preventing heart diseases

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible cycling groups who joined us for this initiative, including my own group #DocsOnWheels, and my friends Saulat H. Fatimi MD and Dr Shahzad Shamim. Your support made this event a success!
