You'd think people who have experienced different perspectives would be able to understand that everyone has their own experiences.

But they can't see past their experience and accept others

Like hello?? It happens to queer men alot.

There should be representation of all kind so people can figure out which one they will identify with, to see if they are trans or something else.

However, that doesn't mean these experiences don't exist just because they aren't yours. They do, I've met them, I know them.

@Evilagram @boopbloopdatsme But just because Shen chooses to make a comic about a femboy (who even wears gender neutral clothing at one point) to explore his gender doesn't mean he's denying trans women.

As a NB person this comic reminds me of the journey that me and many others went through.

@boopbloopdatsme Have you considered one of the reasons you don't see GNC men is because you and others assume they are immediately trans?

There are butch lesbians who make themselves look very masculine and they're still women even if they never present feminine.

The character isn't overly performative, I'm non-binary, AMAB, and very feminine looking, and often I'll present that way. I know plenty of people who present various ways.

@quoipi There's nothing wrong with your interpretation, it's not ehat I believe but that's fine I always took it as he was performatively good, like when he dies he says "see you later" rather than being sad. And when defending himself he says I went to church on Sunday day' usually more

@lysukoo Me and my spouse both have adhd, the bouncing is fine sure, but at one point she makes a noise that I've only ever heard people make in a bedroom. Especially when her voice cracks and gets out of breath, never seen that happen from adhd.
