From a young age, I witnessed abuse in a small rural church—including the abuse of a minor and the misuse of "gifts of the Spirit" to cover it up. The abuser was a close relative of mine. My parents (along with a few others) confronted the situation, and we eventually left that church.
My father was firmly convinced that the spiritual gifts are for today, and he was determined to find a healthy church where they operated in a genuinely biblical way. I was old enough to remember everything that happened. Those experiences shaped me into a continuationist who holds a healthy skepticism toward emotionalism and dramatic claims of supernatural grandeur.
These experiences (along with building a relationship later in life with the previously mentioned victim) also gave me zero tolerance for anyone in church leadership who uses their authority—or the name of God—to abuse others, whether sexually or otherwise.
That’s why I’m glad to see evil and wickedness being exposed. It brings much-needed health to the church, justice to victims, and greater authenticity to the gifts.
Is it ok to kill people who have Down Syndrome….before they’re born? 😱
Recently, a public figure couple did just that. 😭 They aborted their five month old baby because he received a DS diagnosis.

The baby might have Down syndrome: “Kill it”
The dog will have no kidneys and will die in a couple weeks: “well let’s see if it’ll push through”
You literally valued the life of a dog more than YOUR OWN CHILD.
You’re not grieving the loss of your unborn child. You murdered your child.
The impossible decision was you live a life where you have more responsibility because you have a child with a disability, or just kill it instead.
You murdered your child because it was more convenient.
Every single child with Down syndrome is a gift from God, who deserves life.
These children have just as much value, and deserve life just as much as a child without DS.
Down syndrome children aren’t a curse to parents.
Pass it on.
Never forget, Muhammad got one thing right.
If he was a false prophet, his aorta would be severed (Surah 69:44-47). Later, Muhammad dies after saying his aorta was severed (Dawud 4512 / Bukhari 4428), proving he's a false prophet.
