Let's talk about Willie Saylor's actual mat resume.
High School: Easton (PA). He managed to win a District 11 title at 103 lbs back in 1996. Yes, he was part of an incredible, #1 nationally ranked high school team, but he was literally the lightest guy in a lineup that was carried by actual legends.

He did actually wrestle at Bloomsburg and logged some time in a D1 room, but it was far from an All-American campaign. He eventually stepped away to get an English degree and went to grad school for fiction writing. It's a fitting pivot for a guy who now makes his living spinning narratives and loudly critiquing actual NCAA champions online. And bashes good fans constantly.
