Years of running Torquay's premier hotel have given me the management know-how & people skills needed for a successful career in politics. Or so Nigel says.
Rishi Sunak will never get votes from the over 50s in my neck of the woods - they're all firm supporters of UKIP or have now moved to Reform.
Also, why are you giving publicity to Saga Holidays rather than supporting the proudly British hoteliers of the English Riviera?
#Over50
Wild scenes at the #LeaveMeansLeave rally in Torquay as Nigel Farage, Jacob Rees-Mogg & Tim Martin inspire the nation's youth with the spirit of #Brexit. These people are the future!
Miss Tibbs says she has seen nothing like it since Cliff Richard's English Riviera tour of 1965.
Anyone taking the knee at Fawlty Towers will be immediately ejected from this establishment.
UKIP & Priti Patel are quite right. As well as being Marxist, #TakeTheKnee is clearly a racist gesture.
We will not tolerate such behaviour at the English Riviera's premier hotel!
#BrexitDisaster? Not a bit of it!
Brexit has always aimed to set the clock back to the early 1970s, before we joined the EU.
The heart-warming scenes from Belfast show that we are succeeding!
Fed up with moaning about the Festival of Brexit.
Fawlty Towers is proud to host a part of this. Star-studded line-up to include:
- Jim Davidson
- The Black & White Minstrels (performing 'Old Man Farage')
- Dame Vera Lynn (hologram)
Royal patron: Prince Andrew.
#festivalofbrexit
Mr Matharu is absolutely correct. Britain has a great deal to learn from Basil Fawlty, not least the proper way to deal with ungrateful and presumptious foreigners.
I am much encouraged by the Prime Minister's threat to send in the gunboats, as is the Major.
"The story of Brexit is not one of sovereignty but supremacy. Being better than others. Sovereignty is a sense of self-ownership; feeling secure in who one is. Supremacy is something darker"
Me on #Brexit and what Britain can learn from Basil Fawlty 👇

UKIP is right, of course. The only people to "take the knee" should be the subject peoples of our colonies once we have restored the British Empire.
As the Major put it to me: "Black Lives Matter, Fawlty? Not on the English Riviera if I have anything to do with it!"
Now that UKIP is regaining its rightful place in the media spotlight, may I commend our candidate for Mayor of London, Dr Peter Gammons?
Not a medical doctor, of course. Groundless health scares spread by such doctors have done great harm to hoteliers on the English Riviera.
Very encouraging to see UKIP trending!
People may think our party went away, but quite the opposite.
We simply took over the Conservative Party.
Which is why its very unfair to call George Eustice "George Useless". He has taken UKIP to the heart of government!
Personally I am pleased by the BBC's decision.
This unfortunate episode has been held against me for years, & used to suggest that the proprietor of Fawlty Towers harbours comically "racist" attitudes. This is untrue, just as it is of Nigel.
We simply don't like foreigners.
If Fawlty Towers is now being removed by the BBC then humour is dead. The puritans are winning because the establishment is weak and has no self confidence.
Andrea Leadsom says we are not to mention the word "Brexit" in future.
Excellent advice. I find it also helps to avoid mention of the war when catering for parties of visiting Germans.
We must put such unpleasantness behind us!

I am sick to the back teeth of moaning Remainers telling us we are #thick.
I was quite clear about why I wanted Brexit. Now at last Fawlty Towers can serve a full English breakfast, including kippers, without fear of interference from the health inspectorate of our EU overlords.
.@PiersMorgan thinks @carolecadwalla's barbed remarks about him must be a sign that she has fallen for his charms.
Very likely, in my view. When Polly caught sight of Piers sunning himself on Torquay beach during his stay at Fawlty Towers, she became literally sick with ardour.

A very good point. Nigel kept an eagle eye on fish when he was a member of this committee. And for his pains he is now being stripped of his salary as an MEP. Typically unreasonable and vindictive behaviour by the EU.
Attending the penultimate session of the #EuropeanParliament’s #FisheriesCommittee#PECHcommittee) with #BritishMEPs. The big question now is, who will be here to hold these people to account while they still control Britain’s waters, but the UK has no representation?
Fawlty Towers will be hosting a special #BrexitFestival event. Star-studded line-up to include:

- Tommy Robinson & the Yellow Vests
- Dame Vera Lynn
Hosted by #PiersMorgan. Royal patron: Prince Andrew.
I was much looking forward to the clocks going back to 1973 on 1 November, but thanks to Remoaner machinations it seems this is not to be.
#clocksgoback
@IanDunt Delighted to see the headline but then I read the article.
Obsequious? Uncvil?
On the contrary, I have shown our once-proud nation how to take back control and make a dignified exit. As below.

Racism? Not a bit of it. Godfrey Bloom's remarks to @theJeremyVine were no doubt caused by substances imbibed for strictly medicinal purposes, or perhaps a blow to the head. I have experienced very similar problems myself.
