5. ASUS
Press the Fn key along with F7 to increase brightness, or Fn + F6 to decrease/turn it off. On gaming models (like ROG or TUF), look for the Up and Down Arrow keys or F3 and F4 with a small keyboard backlight icon.
4. MACBOOK
To adjust or toggle the keyboard light on a MacBook, press the F5 key to decrease brightness and the F6 key to increase it, or adjust the Keyboard Brightness slider in the macOS Control Center.
3. HP
Standard Key: For most modern HP laptops, simply press the F5 or F9 key once to turn the light on or change brightness levels.
With Fn Key: If pressing the function key changes your screen brightness or volume instead, press and hold the Fn key (bottom-left corner), 👉🏿
F6 or F7 Key: Some models use F6 or F7 instead. Try tapping the key directly, or use Fn + F6 /F7
Right Arrow Key: On premium models like the Dell XPS series, the backlight icon is often located on the Right Arrow key. Press and hold Fn, then tap the Right Arrow key to turn it on
2. DELL
Usually F5 or F10 Key: On many Inspiron, Latitude, and Vostro laptops, simply tapping F5 or F10 will toggle the light. If pressing it normally doesn't work, press and hold the Fn key, then tap that function key (e.g., Fn + F5).
1. LENOVO
Simply press the FN and Space bar key simultaneously.
First press (Fn + Spacebar): Low or dim brightness.
Second press: High or bright light.
Third press: Turns the keyboard light off completely.
