GitBank Bot launches are currently paused as we migrate to our own launchpad contract system.
This week, we’re delivering the new GitBank Bot with our own launchpad contracts, alongside a PWA that makes launching, managing, and interacting with tokens much easier.
The goal is simple: build a system where GitBank holders and launched-token communities can actually benefit from the activity happening across the platform.
New infrastructure. Better UX. More sustainable rewards.
Let’s build.
GitBank is officially under review by Base.
Just received an email from the Base team confirming that our application has been received and is now being reviewed by their team.
No decision yet, but we’re excited to see GitBank being considered.
We’ll keep building regardless. Let’s see where this goes.
This approach won’t be limited to GitBranch. It will also power @gitbankbot, giving developers the same experience whether they’re building on Base or Robinhood Chain. One ecosystem, multiple networks.
We’ve also started working on the long-term integration between $GITBANK and $BRANCH. Our goal is to eventually make both assets fully bridgeable at a 1:1 ratio through a dedicated smart contract.
To make that possible, the team is now accumulating protocol fees to build reserves for both tokens. These reserves will be used to support the future bridge and ensure it can operate sustainably.
This process depends on protocol volume and the pace at which the treasury grows, but we’re targeting an initial rollout within the next month. Next week we’ll begin deploying the infrastructure that automatically accumulates protocol fees into reserves for both $GITBANK and $BRANCH.
This is a long-term commitment, not a short-term feature. Our goal is to unify both ecosystems while allowing each network to continue growing independently until the bridge is ready.
@Gitbank_io@gitbankbot Thank you for the clarification and for communicating with us. This is exactly what we needed. We believe in the vision and hope you'll continue keeping the community informed.
@Gitbank_io What concerns me about you is the lack of transparency. The official email doesn't even accept messages, community questions go unanswered, and a new project is being launched before GitBank has proven itself. That makes it hard to trust the team's long-term commitment.
@gitbranch_org It's not GitBranch that concerns me. It's the lack of transparency. The official email doesn't even accept messages, community questions go unanswered, and a new project is being launched before GitBank has proven itself. That makes it hard to trust the team's longterm commitment
@gitbranch_org Is there a connection between GitBranch and GitBank, or are they separate projects? As GitBank holders, we'd like to know whether the success of GitBranch will also benefit GitBank.
@james65440135@Gitbank_io Sorry to hear that. The same thing happened to me. Somehow, I still have a little hope that they'll do something, but I know it's a big risk to trust a team that doesn't respond to its investors or keep them updated.
@Gitbank_io Could you please clarify whether GitBranch is an extension of GitBank or a separate project? As GITBANK holders, we'd like reassurance that GitBank remains a core focus and won't be abandoned.
@Gitbank_io Gitbank team, We just wanted to ask if the team is still actively building. We haven’t heard from you for a while, and the silence is making the community uncertain. Even a short update about what you’re working on would mean a lot and help reassure everyone. Thank you
