The Explorers have had an amazing time over the past couple of days with, snowmobiling, dog sledging and visiting the waterfalls and nature reserve at Storforsens. They've even been out helping to maintain the dog sledging tracks.

This week, a group of our Explorers are braving the cold on an exciting trip to Sweden. With temperatures of -30°C 🥶 this morning they've had a fun day settling in, helping with the dogs and a spot of ice fishing 🧊🎣

Last night, Basingstoke Network had their first ever Christmas event! 🎅🎄

A joint effort between @BasingstokeWest and @BEScoutsUK, Basingstoke Network is open to all aged 18 to 25 in Basingstoke. Being a grown up shouldn’t mean you have to miss out on all the fun of scouting.

Harry Dood, Chief Scout Diamond recipient (equivalent to DofE Silver), was given the opportunity to share his experiences. He gave an inspiring account of his adventure and growth, before hearing from The Warren Youth Club thanking him for his impeccable volunteering service.

Congratulations to the 22 amazing young people from Basingstoke West Scouts who were awarded their Chief Scout Awards on Monday evening.

The formal ceremony was headed by @BasingMayor, along with Lady Louisa Portal (District President) and Peter Byrne (District Commissioner).

A massive THANK YOU to Basingstoke Tae Kwon-Do TAGB, Mr & Mrs Green, for giving Basingstoke 24th Cubs an amazing Taekwondo lesson for free! They absolutely enjoyed themselves & learnt a lot of Self-Defense, Stranger Danger & even learn some Korean.

Thanks to the generosity of 25 @EliLillyandCo employees, who volunteered their time through @volunteeringuk, 24th Scout Group's hut has had a much needed facelift.

On Wednesday we had our AGM! We got to meet our new DC, try out some crossbows and present some well deserved awards. It was a great turn out, thank you to everyone involved!

@HatchWarren_ are down at the Hatch Warren Community Center Fair today! Come down and join in with activities such as: Tomahawks, Coconut shy, mini crossbows, mini rifles and an assortment of games!

What a great day yesterday with our pop up event at @FestivalPlace! We had a lot of fun interacting with people from our community by running activities such as catapults, sumo wrestling and crafts as part of #TheBigHelpOut.
